Lost Aadhaar Card: Currently, Aadhaar card is one of the most important identity documents for Indian citizens. Contact and biometric verification at the enrollment center

If you do not have a mobile number link, you will have to go directly to the Aadhaar enrollment center instead of online. This is the most reliable way to get your card back. You will have to apply for a new card there. Since there is no chance of getting an OTP, biometric verification or fingerprint and iris scan will be done to confirm your identity. This process will ensure that you are the real cardholder.

If you have the receipt or acknowledgement slip from the time of making the old Aadhaar card, the task becomes easier. The 28-digit Enrollment ID number on that receipt has to be provided to the center. Along with this, you have to provide basic information like your name and address to the form or operator.

What to do if you do not have an Enrollment ID

Many people do not have the old receipt or enrollment ID saved. In that case too, there is nothing to worry about. You can get your Aadhaar card reissued without an enrollment ID. For this, you have to go to the Aadhaar center and provide your name, address and other necessary personal information correctly. Then those details will be matched with the biometric information. If the information is proven correct, the process of issuing your card will start.

Fees and Card Receipt

You will have to pay a small fee to complete the entire process. Currently, the fee for this service is usually 30 taka. After the application process and verification are successfully completed, the new Aadhaar card will reach the address you provided by post within a few days.
