CNG Price- Good news for CNG vehicle owners. If you use a CNG vehicle then there is good news for you. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has started reducing the price of CNG. IGL has reduced the price of CNG by Rs 1 per kg in Karnal, Haryana. Now one kg of CNG will cost Rs 83.43 in Karnal.

There has been no change in the price of CNG in other cities at present. Let us tell you, recently the government had reduced the price of natural gas, after which the price of CNG was expected to decrease. Both CNG and PNG are made from natural gas. Recently, the government had reduced the price of natural gas from the fields allocated to ONGC without auction from $6.75 per million British thermal unit (MMBTU) to $6.41. This reduction was the first after the government implemented a new formula for fixing the price of such gas in April 2023.

Natural gas prices were reduced by 5 percent, but experts had already predicted that gas distribution companies would not pass on the entire reduction to consumers. In fact, the companies were already facing the pressure of increasing input costs. It is believed that Indraprastha Gas Limited may soon announce a reduction in CNG prices in other cities as well.
