Gold and Silver Prices Today: Gold prices have fluctuated over the past several days, with rates changing daily. Today—Monday, May 4—gold prices once again recorded a decline. On May 4, gold rates fell on the MCX (Multi-Commodity Exchange). Crude oil prices have consistently remained above the $100 mark, a factor that appears to be impacting the trajectory of gold prices.

Gold Price Today:-
MCX Gold June Futures are currently trending at ₹151,005 per 10 grams, reflecting a decline of 0.23 per cent. Meanwhile, MCX Silver July Futures are trading at the level of ₹250,549 per kilogram, following a drop of 0.15 per cent. In early trading on the MCX, gold prices fell by approximately ₹500 per 10 grams, while silver prices dropped by about ₹1,200 per kilogram. Gold contracts for June 5 delivery closed at ₹151,352 in the previous session and opened today at ₹151,150.

In early trading, gold hovered around the ₹150,860 mark, down by ₹492. At 10:10 AM, it was trading at ₹151,149, down ₹203. Silver contracts for July 3 delivery closed at ₹250,937 in the previous session and opened today at ₹249,760. In early trading, it dipped to ₹249,760, down ₹1,177. Furthermore, at 10:14 AM, it was trading at ₹250,146, down by ₹791.

What was the gold rate on Thursday?
According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association, the rate for 24-carat gold on Thursday was ₹148,652. Meanwhile, the rate for 23-carat gold was ₹148,057; for 22-carat gold, it was ₹136,165; for 18-carat gold, it was ₹111,489; and for 14-carat gold, it was ₹86,961 per 10 grams. On Thursday, the price of silver was recorded at ₹236,882 per kilogram.
