Gold Rate Today: Amid escalating geopolitical tensions, gold and silver prices continue to rise. While gold and silver prices fluctuate, occasional dips are also observed. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-karat gold had risen to ₹1,36,168 per 10 grams by Monday evening. On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures prices have increased to ₹1,38,392 per 10 grams. In the last two days, the price of 24-karat gold has risen by ₹2410 and 22-karat gold by ₹2210 per ten grams. As for silver, the price of one kilogram of silver has also increased for the second consecutive day in Delhi. In two days, the price of one kilogram of silver has risen by ₹7100. Gold Prices in the Futures Market
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures for February delivery rose by ₹1,509, or 1.11 per cent, to ₹1,37,270 per 10 grams. Trading volume was 15,226 lots. After reaching a record high at the end of December, gold prices fell by ₹4,112, or 2.94 per cent, last week.
