Gold and Silver Prices January 2: The upward trend in gold and silver prices continues in the new year. Today, January 2nd, silver prices have jumped by Rs 5,656 to Rs 234,906 per kg. Gold prices have also increased by Rs 954. After the addition of GST, silver is now priced at Rs 241953 per kg. Gold and silver rates have reached their highest levels. The rate of 24-karat gold, including GST, has now reached Rs 138447 per 10 grams. On Thursday, January 1st, silver closed at Rs 229250 without GST. Similarly, gold closed at Rs 133,461 per 10 grams, excluding GST. Today, gold opened at Rs 134415 without GST. What are the latest gold rates?
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 23-karat gold has risen by Rs 950 to reach Rs 133877 per 10 grams. After the addition of GST, the price is Rs 137893. This price does not include making charges. Meanwhile, the price of 22-karat gold has increased by Rs 874. After the increase, the price is now Rs 123124. After adding GST, the price is Rs 126817 per 10 grams. Furthermore, 18-karat gold has increased by Rs 715 to reach Rs 100811 per 10 grams. With GST, the price is Rs 103825 per 10 grams. Finally, the rate of 14-karat gold has increased by Rs 558. Today, it opened at Rs 78633 and with GST, it has reached Rs 80991.
