By the close of the previous session on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of 24-carat gold had risen by ₹408 to settle at ₹1,49,340 per 10 grams. A rise in gold rates was observed immediately upon the opening of the MCX market today.
At 9:05 AM today (12 June), the price of 24-carat gold on the MCX reached ₹1,50,356 per 10 grams, marking an increase of ₹1,016 per tola. Meanwhile, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the gold price stood at ₹1,44,782 per 10 grams at the close of the market on Thursday evening. Prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as soon as the market opened on 12 June. On 11 June, around 11:30 PM, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,49,340 per 10 grams; however, by 12 June, the rate had climbed to ₹1,50,356 per 10 grams.
Silver Price Today (MCX)
Silver prices also rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at the market opening on 12 June. Around 11:30 PM on June 11, the price of silver was recorded at ₹2,40,500 per kilogram; by 9:05 AM on June 12, it had risen to ₹2,43,494.
Notably, after declining over the past two days, gold and silver prices have rebounded on the final trading day of the week. Fluctuations in gold and silver rates on the MCX are observed at frequent intervals.
