Gold Price Crash Today: Gold prices are experiencing constant fluctuations amid tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the US. Gold rates are changing rapidly. Today, June 8, gold and silver prices declined. A drop in prices has also been observed in the international market. At the market opening on the MCX, both gold and silver saw a sharp decline; gold prices fell by ₹1,600 to ₹1,53,933 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, silver prices dropped by ₹5,000, bringing the rate to ₹2,43,379 per kilogram. By the close of the market last week—specifically on June 5—the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,55,600, while silver was priced at ₹2,48,201 per kilogram.
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of gold stood at ₹1,54,238 per 10 grams at the close of the market last week. IBJA typically releases gold rates around 12:00 PM.
Gold and Silver Rates in the Global Market
On Monday, COMEX gold futures fell by $30.80, trading at $4,334.50 per ounce. Meanwhile, COMEX silver dropped by 2.49 per cent to reach $67.39 per ounce.
MCX gold price today
Gold prices declined as soon as the market opened today, June 8, on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold opened at ₹1,53,933 per 10 grams, down ₹1,600. At 9:36 AM, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,54,237 per 10 grams. By the close of the market last week, the price of gold was recorded at ₹155,600 per 10 grams.
