Despite its high price, people purchase it to enhance their appearance. Just imagine how you would feel if you discovered a gold mine. You would literally be overwhelmed with joy. The existence of vast gold reserves in Rajasthan’s Banswara district has not yet been confirmed. It’s as if the state has found Kubera’s treasure. This treasure has been confirmed in the discovery of the third gold mine in Kankaria village in the Ghatol region of Banswara district.

How many tons of gold have been found?

Approximately 222 tons of pure gold have been found in this mine. Additionally, gold has been found in an area approximately 3kilometress long in Kankaria. The entire region is also estimated to contain over 110 million tons of gold ore reserves. Previously, gold mines have been confirmed in Jagpuria and Bhukia in Banswara.

In addition, in the future, Banswara district will have the potential to supply approximately 25 per cent of the country’s total gold demand. It is being seen as a new gold reserve, which is being widely discussed. Besides this, there are large gold reserves in many other places in India.

Where are the largest gold reserves?

For information, it should be noted that Bihar has the largest gold reserves in India. Jamui district here has approximately 44 per cent of the total gold ore resources, amounting to approximately 22.9 million tons. Rajasthan is in second place, with gold reserves of approximately 125 million tons.

Karnataka is in third place, with gold reserves of 103 million tons. Andhra Pradesh is in fourth place, with gold reserves of approximately 15 million tons. Uttar Pradesh is in fifth place, with gold deposits of approximately 13 million tons. Sonbhadra district is the main centre here.
