Good news for many people. Especially those people who have low income have difficulty in paying the electricity bill. Therefore, ‘Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana’ has been started to provide financial help to those people. Under this scheme, the government will waive electricity bills of up to 200 units of those who use domestic electricity and whose consumption is less than 200 units. This scheme is specially designed for economically weaker people, who are not able to pay their electricity bills.

Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana

The main objective of the electricity bill waiver scheme is to provide relief to poor and needy families from electricity bills. For those whose financial condition is not good, paying electricity bills is a big problem. Under this scheme, if the electricity bill of a family comes up to 200 units, then their entire bill will be waived. If the electricity consumption is more than 200 units, then they will not get the benefit of this scheme.

This scheme is for those who use less household electricity, such as fan, TV, and tube light. If a family uses high power consuming appliances such as AC, heater, etc. in their house, then they will not get the benefit of this scheme.
