Important note for Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries

If you have a gas connection under the Ujjwala Yojana, you need to pay special attention. According to government rules, e-KYC is mandatory to receive the ₹300 subsidy on the 8th and 9th refills. If you do not complete the e-KYC, the subsidy will be stopped after the 7th refill. However, the good news is that the gas cylinder delivery will not be stopped; only the subsidy amount will not be credited.
