PF Withdrawal from ATM: Most salaried employees have their PF deducted. Companies deposit this amount into their PF account to create significant savings for their future. PF claims can take 10 to 15 days to be settled. But now that’s not the case. Withdrawals will be available easily.

EPFO is going to provide ATM access to PF employees. Withdrawals through ATMs will be possible. Employees will no longer have to worry about this. The government is launching this facility early next year. Approximately 7 crore employees will benefit from it. This is expected to be good news.

ATM facility will be available soon

PF account holders are in for a treat. People used to make online claims to withdraw their PF funds, but that won’t be the case anymore. Now, people will be able to withdraw their PF funds through ATMs without losing a day. EPFO is planning to launch this facility from January 2026.

Once launched, PF employees will be able to withdraw their funds through ATMs. This decision will be considered part of EPFO 3.0, meaning withdrawals can be made as normal. Full details are yet to be released.

The Central Board of Trustees is likely to discuss this proposal at its upcoming meeting. If the Board receives government approval, this facility will be operational. Currently, this process takes one to two weeks. Sometimes, funds arrive within four to five days. The withdrawal process is also simple.

The withdrawal process is easy

People are likely to have several questions about this. First, will it be possible to withdraw funds using a regular bank ATM card? The EPF may issue a special card to its members, which will be directly linked to their PF account. Furthermore, withdrawal claims will be made online.

Once the claim is approved, members will be able to use this card at any bank ATM. More than 70 million employees will benefit from this new government initiative. This facility will prove extremely useful, especially in emergencies.
