The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started the facility of the FASTag Annual Pass, which can exempt you from toll tax for a year. This pass is available for just ₹ 3, 000 and has been implemented from August 15. More than 1 lakh people have bought this pass on the very first day. How will you get the benefit of an annual pass
FASTag Annual Pass is for all those people who travel frequently on the highway. Once ₹ 3, 000 is paid, this pass will be valid for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings. This facility is available for all private vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans. Within two hours of making the payment, this pass will be activated from the HighwayYatra app or the NHAI website.
How to buy your FASTag annual pass
Buying your FASTag annual pass is very easy. You can buy it by following the steps given below:
First of all, download the ‘Highway Yatra App’ from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your smartphone.
Open the app and go to ‘Annual Pass’ in the menu.
Now click on the ‘Pre-Book’ option.
Read the instructions given on the screen carefully and keep your vehicle registration number and FASTag data ready.
Enter your vehicle registration number in the requested information, which is linked to your FASTag.
The system will check the eligibility of your vehicle.
Now an OTP will come to your registered mobile number, enter it.
After this, choose one of the payment options from UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking.
Finally, pay ₹3, 000. Your annual pass is ready.
