EPFO Update – Major news for EPFO members. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is now providing easier digital facilities to its members. Now you can view and download many important documents related to PF directly from the DigiLocker app or website. That is, now you do not need separate apps for documents like passbook or PPO (Pension Payment Order).
What facilities of EPFO will be available on DigiLocker?
EPFO members can now get these important documents on DigiLocker:
UAN Card
Pension Payment Order (PPO)
EPF Scheme Certificate
Earlier the passbook could only be downloaded through the UMANG app, but now with DigiLocker this process has become easier. This is very beneficial for those who want to access all their documents on a single platform.
Now download PPO (Pension Payment Order) from DigiLocker also
DigiLocker, which is an important part of the Digital India program, aims to facilitate paperless documents. This will enable easy and secure exchange of digital documents between government agencies and citizens.
Now EPFO has also made PPO available on DigiLocker for EPS pensioners. At present, it includes PPO certificates issued between September 2017 and September 2019. Other documents are also being added gradually.

Important things:
You must have your Aadhaar number
Your mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar (for OTP)
If the mobile number is not linked, you can update it by visiting UIDAI center.
How to download PPO from website?
Visit the website: https://digilocker.gov.in
Sign Up (if you already have an account, click ‘Sign In’)
Enter mobile number and verify OTP
Create a username and password
Enter Aadhaar number and enter OTP received on Aadhaar mobile number
After the account is created the dashboard will open

Enter mobile number and verify it with OTP
Create a username and password
Link Aadhaar number and enter OTP
