Selecting a Transfer Claim

In the ‘Online Services’ menu, you’ll find the option for ‘One Member – One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’. Click on it. Here, you’ll see all the personal information and current employer details related to the PF transfer.

Previous Job Details and Verification

Now, you’ll need to fill in the PF account details related to your previous job. Click on ‘Get Details’ to select your previous employer, where you’ll enter the member ID of the previous company. Make sure you choose to verify the claim through your current employer, as this makes the entire process faster.

 Submitting the Request via OTP

Next, click on ‘Get OTP’ for verification. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and submit the transfer request. Upon successful submission, you will receive a Tracking ID, also known as Form 13.

Tracking the Claim and Final Verification

After submitting the request, you can check the status of your application in the ‘Track Claim Status’ section using the Tracking ID.

Your current employer will verify this request online and send it to the EPFO office. After verification by the EPFO office, your PF balance from your previous company will be fully transferred to your current company’s PF account. This online process typically takes 7 to 30 days.

This transfer process fully preserves your service continuity, allowing you to enjoy the ultimate benefit of tax-free withdrawal after a minimum service period of 5 years.
