After inaugurating the pilot project at Santragachi Bus Terminus, the State Transport Minister said that applications for driving licenses must now be made online. Applicants will then be called for the driving test on a specific day.
Within 4 hours of taking the test, a copy of the license will be sent to the driver’s mobile phone. This will allow people to drive without any problem. After the Driving License is printed, the Transport Department will deliver the smart card to the home. Even if the copy is on the mobile, it will also be accepted.
