DA Hike : Good news for state government employees. Chhattisgarh government has now given a gift to its employees. State employees will receive the same allowances as those at the central government. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai made a major announcement at the eighth state convention of the Chhattisgarh State Employees Union.
The government has taken a significant decision in the interest of the state’s officers and employees. CM Sai announced that state employees will now receive allowances similar to those at the central government. The Chief Minister said that in the interest of state officials and employees, he is announcing an increase in dearness allowance to the same level as the central government. The government has now increased this allowance from 55% to 58%, which will now be given to employees.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai shared this information via social media. He wrote in an “X” post that today, at the eighth state convention of the Chhattisgarh State Employees Union, an announcement was made to increase dearness allowance in the interest of state employees.
The state’s dearness allowance will be increased while ensuring benefits similar to those of the central government, providing real relief to employees amid rising inflation. Chhattisgarh’s officers and employees are the backbone of our governance system. Their honesty, dedication, and spirit of service are the true strength of good governance, and our government is committed to their respect and welfare at every step.

The eighth state convention was held in the capital, Raipur, on Sunday (January 11). Regarding increasing employee allowances, he said that the State Employees Union had several demands. Meanwhile, an announcement has been made to increase their DA, similar to the central government’s. He said that a committee will be formed to address the remaining demands. He also discussed with the employees’ union and resolved most of their demands, which are reasonable. The government will work to fulfill all of them.
