What could become cheaper?

Smartphones and Tablets: Mobile phones made in India could become cheaper after a reduction in customs duty on mobile spare parts.

Affordable Homes: The tax exemption limit on home loan interest may be increased from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh. This will make it easier for people to buy homes.

Electric Vehicles (EVs): If the tax on raw materials used in battery manufacturing is reduced, electric scooters and cars could become cheaper.

Cancer Medicines: A reduction in duties on medicines for serious illnesses and life-saving medical devices could significantly improve treatment.

Domestic Electronics: Relief is expected on TVs, refrigerators, and other home appliances manufactured in India.

What could become more expensive?

Imported Luxury Goods: Expensive watches, shoes, and designer clothes imported from abroad may become more expensive. If the government increases the customs duty on these items, buying them will become more expensive.

Foreign Cars: There is a possibility of increasing taxes on imported, completely built-up (CBU) premium cars.

Foreign Cosmetics: Premium beauty products, perfumes, and makeup items that are imported from abroad may become more expensive.
