BSNL 4G Service: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is constantly introducing new recharge plans to please its customers and give tough competition to private telecom companies. The audience purchases BSNL plans in large quantities.

Internet users are increasingly gravitating towards BSNL due to its affordable recharges. Private telecom companies have been providing 5G service in the country for a long time. On the other hand, customers have been waiting for BSNL’s 4G service for a long time. However, now it appears that the wait for BSNL users is going to end very soon.

BSNL will start 4G service based on indigenous technology very soon this year across the country. According to official sources, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) officials have claimed to record a maximum speed of 40-45 megabits per second (Mbps) on the 4G network. The BSNL company is reportedly planning to launch 4G service nationwide in the upcoming months.

However, BSNL has not yet officially released this information. BSNL officials said that 40-45 megabit speeds will be available on the 4G network. Simultaneously, BSNL will launch its 4G service in the 700 MHz premium spectrum band, subsequently expanding it to the 2,100 MHz band for the pilot project.

Last year, the company launched 4G services in Punjab with the assistance of IT company TCS and a consortium led by the state-run telecom research organization C-DoT, which resulted in the addition of approximately 8 lakh new customers. This year, BSNL will launch self-reliant 4G technology across the country.

This entire core network is a collection of hardware, devices, and software that provides fundamental service in the telecom network.

According to a senior official, BSNL may launch its much-awaited 4G services for customers in October 2024. So far, the telecom company has installed around 25,000 4G towers across the country. Additionally, BSNL has started sending 4G SIMs to its customers.

We will do some more tests before formally launching 4G services, a senior official said. While private telecom providers like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea Ltd. are providing their 5G services to customers, BSNL is still offering 2G and 3G networks.
