UMANG App Gas Booking Process: Cooking gas cylinders have become a necessity for almost every household in India. The government has taken steps to protect the poor from pollution by distributing LPG connections. Now, even the poor have access to gas cylinders. Furthermore, there’s no need to visit an agency to purchase a gas cylinder.
You can book an LPG cylinder from the comfort of your home. The UMANG app provides excellent service. You can book LPG cylinders from the comfort of your home through the UMANG app. You can book cylinders from Indian Oil, Bharat Gas, and Hindustan Petroleum Gas companies. Booking a gas cylinder through the UMANG app is also quite easy. You’ll need to download the UMANG app on your mobile phone first.
Register using the UMANG app
First, go to the Google Play Store and download the UMANG app.
You’ll need to enter your mobile number.
After this, an OTP will be sent to you.
This will complete the registration process.
You can then set a four-digit MPIN for future logins.
Easy way to book with the Umang app
After logging in, go to the app’s search button.
Enter LPG here.
Select your gas company from the search results.
You’ll then find options like Bharat Gas, HP Gas, and Indane.
Step 2 – In the next step, you’ll need to access the gas company’s specific page.
Here, you’ll need to enter your LPG ID.
You’ll easily find the gas passbook here.
You’ll then need to log in using your registered mobile number.
Once your Umang app is successfully linked to your gas account, booking becomes easy.
You’ll need to select the refill booking option.
You’ll then find this option on the company’s page.
Then, there may be a ‘Book Cylinder’ option.
You’ll then need to carefully check the consumer details, address, and name of the gas agency.
You need to confirm the booking if all the information is correct.
Once confirmed, the booking will be registered.
You will also receive an SMS notification.
After booking, click ‘Pay Now’. You can select the payment mode.
You can then choose between UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking.
The advantage of making a digital payment is that you can directly avail the subsidy.
You will also need to easily check the status of your subsidy on the Umang app.
Domestic cylinder prices have not changed.
You will be surprised to know that there has been no change in the price of LPG cylinders since November 2025. This means that there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders in all cities.
