After the launch of the new Aadhaar app, UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is now thinking of changing the entire Aadhaar card. It is known that this time the name, address, date of birth and Aadhaar number will be removed from the new Aadhaar card. A QR code will be given along with it, which will be the main proof of personal information.
Aadhaar card will not have name, address, personal information
As informed by UIDAI, from now on Aadhaar card will not have any personal information of the user. Such as name, address, Aadhaar card number etc. Instead, there will be only a modern QR code, as is now being given in the PAN card. And through this QR code, all the information of the citizens will be in encrypted format. If you scan it, all the information will come to light. However, a new app will be required for this. For that, the mAdhar app has already been launched by the central government.
UIDAI has said that this decision has been taken to prevent offline verification or fraud through Aadhaar card. Because, in many cases, when you go to various offline organizations or hotels, they collect Aadhaar information and later there is a possibility of fraud. In that case, there is no security. That is why this initiative. That is, offline Aadhaar verification can be done more safely through these features. In that case, the Aadhaar card does not have to be stored, and no information will be stolen from the user.
In fact, the Aadhaar card that we use at present can easily steal information. It is even misused in different places. And we do not even keep track of it. As a result, many times, ordinary users have to face cases ranging from bank fraud to various types of cyber crime. And there is SIM card fraud. To prevent all those frauds, the central government is introducing this verification method. Through this, user information will come to the fore just by scanning the QR code. However, UIDAI has not yet clarified when this update will be rolled out.
