An easy loan upto Rs 5 lakh, 10% discount facility also available

Loan for Business: The Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan has been launched by the District Industry Department to support unemployed entrepreneurs. This initiative aims to benefit 700 young individuals in the district.

Expecting to receive over 35 applications

The application process is now open, with the Industry Department expecting to receive over 35 applications within the next 15 days. This scheme offers numerous advantages that have not been available previously. Beneficiaries can secure a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh, with no repayment required for the first six months.

10% discount

Additionally, if the full loan amount is repaid on time within four years, a 10% discount will be granted, and there is no interest charged.

A loan of up to Rs 5,00,000

The program is designed for youth aged between 21 and 40 years. Those interested in starting a business can apply for a loan of up to Rs 500,000, with the same six-month grace period for repayments. The total amount must be repaid within four years, and timely repayment will also yield a 10% benefit.

Online and offline facility

Applications can be submitted online through the official District Industry Center website, or individuals can apply in person at the District Industry Center or at Jan Seva Kendras.

Applicants must possess a skill certificate

Dhananjay Singh, an officer at the District Industry Center, emphasized that this scheme is unparalleled for youth looking to launch their careers and create new employment opportunities. The application process is straightforward, but applicants must possess a skill certificate in any field.

What if someone has not any such certification?

For those lacking such certification, the District Industry Center offers assistance. A five-day training program is currently available to help youth acquire necessary skills, and they are encouraged to participate.
