Bengaluru-based AI startup Sarvam AI made its debut at the inauguration of the India AI Impact Summit. And since then, one model after another of the company has been in the news. However, among them, the black Sarvam Kaze glasses on the Prime Minister’s eyes have caught the attention of the countrymen. Which will be able to compete with the smart glasses made by Meta in the future. Before bringing those glasses to the market, the company inaugurated them with the Prime Minister himself. The country’s watchman himself tested those glasses and gave a good review.
The special features of the glasses will surprise you
The company’s co-founder Pratyush Kumar has already posted on his social media handle about the special glasses made by the domestic company Sarvam AI. He wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tried our smart glasses.” While giving information about the smart glasses today, Pratyush, the head of Sarvam AI, said, “Sarvam AI’s Sarvam Kaze glasses can bring artificial intelligence from the screen to the real world. These glasses will listen to the user, understand them, and respond to them, as well as record all the events happening around them.”
Most notably, the smart glasses that have been released in the market so far, including Meta’s smart glasses, can only be operated in English. However, the new smart glasses made by the indigenous company can be operated in various local languages of India, including English. This has been claimed by the Bangalore-based AI company Sarvam AI itself.
When will these glasses be sold in the Indian market?
After seeing the smart glasses with special artificial intelligence in the eyes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many of the countrymen have become eager to buy those glasses. Their question is when will these glasses be sold in the market? The company has informed that these smart glasses will be available in the Indian market from this year i.e. May 2026. At the moment, Meta’s smart AI glasses are usually sold for Rs 29,900 to Rs 39,900. In that case, buyers are hoping that the price of the domestic company’s smart AI glasses may be relatively lower. Although Sarvam AI has not yet announced its exact price.
