Level-1 employees Salary

For employees with a basic pay of Rs 18,000, the arrears could range from Rs 3.6 lakh to Rs 5.65 lakh, depending on the fitment factor. Those with a basic pay of Rs 21,700 may see arrears between Rs 4.34 lakh and Rs 6.81 lakh. Additionally, employees earning a basic pay of Rs 29,200 could receive arrears from Rs 5.84 lakh to Rs 9.16 lakh following the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission. Employees with a basic pay of Rs 47,600 might receive arrears ranging from Rs 9.52 lakh to Rs 14.94 lakh.

What could be the increase in employee salaries?

Employees’ organizations have requested a fitment factor of 3 to 3.25. If this request is granted, the basic pay could rise from Rs 18,000 to Rs 54,000. The Pay Commission is expected to submit its report within 18 months.
