Farmers should complete these tasks immediately
Farmers should complete their e-KYC before the 21st installment arrives. Three options are available for this. The first option is Aadhaar-linked mobile OTP. The second option is biometrics. This requires a visit to a public service center. Farmers can also complete their e-KYC through a mobile app or face authentication.
Find out who will receive the scheme’s funds
The central government had already been transferring an installment of ₹2,000 to farmers in Jammu and Kashmir. The government had announced early assistance to farmers in light of the floods in the Union Territory. The money was transferred to eligible farmers’ accounts in October.

The government provides ₹6,000 annually
The central government previously transferred ₹6,000 annually under the PM Kisan Scheme. Three installments of ₹2,000 are transferred annually by the government. PM Modi transferred the previous installment from Varanasi.
