Life Insurance Corporation of India’s Golden Jubilee Foundation has taken a big initiative this year. LIC has expanded the scope of its scholarship scheme so that the studies of students coming from financially weak families do not stop in between. Now thousands of students will be able to get financial help to continue their studies.

Help will reach 11,200 students

LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation has announced that this time, the benefit of a scholarship will be extended to 11,200 students. This number is three times more than last year. It will directly benefit those students whose studies remain incomplete due to a lack of money.
Which students will get the opportunity?
Scholarship will be given to those students who have recently passed 10th, 12th, or a diploma with good marks and have now taken admission in medical, engineering, undergraduate courses, diploma, or ITI. Especially girls doing a diploma after 10th will get priority in this scholarship.
Eligibility and conditions
To apply, students must have passed 10th or 12th in the recent academic sessions 2022-23, 2023-24, or 2024-25. Also, a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA must be obtained. It is also necessary to enroll in a course for the first time in the academic session of 2025-26.
When and how to apply

The application process for the LIC scholarship has been kept completely online. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of LIC licindia. in. Documents like the mark sheet, admission proof, and income proof have to be uploaded during the application. The last date of application has been fixed as 22 September 2025.
