Skoda and Volkswagen are all prepared to inject some excitement into India’s auto market with a wave of new models next year. Ranging from refreshed designs to leading-edge features, both the brands plan to widen their footprint in priority segments. Here is the list of new vehicles waiting to make waves.

Skoda Slavia Facelift to Bring Modern Upgrades

Skoda Slavia facelift is said to arrive in 2026 with some cosmetic and interior upgrades. Taking inspirations from the new Octavia and Superb, the mid-size sedan will feature a new front and back profile. Interior updates will comprise a new dashboard design and modern features such as a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and a bigger infotainment screen. But there won’t be any modifications under the hood as well, as it will carry on with the same 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI EVO petrol engines.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift to Receive a Revamped Design

Scheduled to roll out next year, the Kushaq facelift will also get a mid-cycle refresh. The spy images show a refreshed front bumper, new rear and new alloy wheels. The interior should get an updated new dashboard and more features such as ADAS, 360-degree parking camera, and an electronic parking brake. Powertrains will continue as before with the trusted Zetec 1.0-litre and TSI 1.5-litre petrol engines serving duty.

Skoda Octavia RS Is Back With Performance At Forefront

The Octavia RS will make it to our shores during the festive season this year in limited numbers, coming in via the CBU route. It will have a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 261 bhp and 370 Nm of torque, matched to a 7-speed DSG unit. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds, which makes it a performance sedan that will deliver an exciting ride. The RS badge also comes with the aggressive styling cues both inside and outside, giving it a sporting persona.

Volkswagen Tayron to Arrive as a Premium 7-Seater

Volkswagen is preparing the Tayron SUV for India, with a likely launch timed around the next festive season. It will essentially be a 7-seat variant of the Tiguan, and will be based on the MQB EVO platform. The Tayron will come with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 204 bhp and 320 Nm, along with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. It will also be offered with an AWD configuration as a standard. Priced in the vicinity of ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom), this CBU import will target the premium SUV consumer.
