An agricultural equipment bank will be started in Koderma district. It will be set up by the Koderma Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperative Department. The goal of this scheme is to give modern farming tools to farmers at cheap rates. This will make farming easier and help farmers earn more. Farmers Will Get 80% Subsidy on Machines

This scheme is being run under the National Agricultural Development Scheme (RKVY). Under this, equipment banks will be set up in 10 villages of Koderma district. Around ₹10 lakh will be used to set up each bank. Out of this, ₹8 lakh or 80% will be given by the government as subsidy.

230 Machines Will Be Given at Low Prices

In this scheme, farmers will get about 230 different types of machines at a discount. These machines include tractor, power tiller, power weeder, cultivator, rotavator, seed drill, thresher, mini rice mill, solar sprayer, portable pump, and more. These machines will make farming work fast and easy.

Women Groups Will Get First Preference

This scheme will give first preference to women self-help groups. Groups that have more than 10 acres of land and where any member has a tractor driving license will get priority in this scheme.

How to Apply?

Farmers who want to join the scheme must fill an application form. They can give the form to the District Agriculture Officer, District Cooperative Officer, DPM JSLPS, or DDM NABARD. They can also submit the form directly to the District Joint Agriculture Office.
