VinFast VF3 India Launch 2026 – Affordable Micro EV with 250km Range Coming Soon

VinFast VF3 – The electric car market is currently moving at a high speed. Every company is strengthening its stake, and now Vietnam’s EV producer VinFast is also going to play big bets in India. The company is preparing to launch two more models in 2026 following good responses to VF6 and VF7. One micro SUV VF3 and the other 7-seater electric MPV Limo Green. Interestingly, both carts will be made at the Tamil Nadu plant. So let’s know its details.

VinFast Limo Green

VinFast will first launch Limo Green in the Indian market. This will come with a 5+2 seater layout, which may prove to be a great option for a larger family. This will be countered by trains like BYD eMax 7 and Kia Carens Clavis EV.

Battery

This electric MPV will offer a battery pack of 60.1kWh, which will come with a 201hp electric motor mounted on the front-axle. The company claims that it can offer a certified range of up to about 450km once charged. This figure would be considered quite reliable for long distance travel.

Talking about charging, it supports 11kW AC and 80kW DC fast charging. The battery can be charged from 10 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes with a DC fast charger.

Size and Features

Talking about size, its length is 4740mm, width 1872mm and height 1728mm. The wheelbase of 2840mm makes it quite special from the inside. Features include 10.1-inch touchscreen, 4-speaker sound system, single-zone automatic climate control, 4 airbags, ABS and electronic parking brake.

VinFast also plans to launch its electric ride-healing service Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) in India, which could also promote Limo Green in the commercial segment.

VinFast VF3

VinFast will launch its entry-level electric car VF3 after Limo Green. It will be a micro SUV and directly challenge MG Comet EV and Tata Tiago EV.

Battery

The VF3 in the global market comes with an 18.64kWh battery pack, which is connected to a rear-axle-mounted electric motor. This motor gives 41PS power and 110Nm peak torque. According to the company its range can be up to about 215km, which is sufficient for the everyday use of the city.

In India it can be offered with a battery subscription model. That is, a strategy to keep the initial price low can be adopted.

Talking about dimension, VF3 has a length of 3,190mm, width 1,679mm and height 1,622mm. A wheelbase of 2,075mm and a ground clearance of 191mm give it strong road presence despite its small size.

Interior

The interior features a 2-spoke steering wheel and a 10-inch touchscreen, which also serves as a driver display. Separate instrument cluster is not given. Features include dual front airbags, manual AC, power windows, EBD with ABS, rear parking sensor and reverse camera.
