TVS Orbiter: TVS has introduced its newest electric scooter in India named the Orbiter. As an entry-level product, this one incorporates contemporary styling, extended range, and convenient features at a competitive price tag.
Price and Booking
TVS Orbiter has been priced at an ex-showroom rate of ₹99,900. It is launched in a single, top-of-the-line variant with all the necessary features bundled together for buyers. Bookings can be done online on the company’s official website with a refundable token charge of ₹5,001. Deliveries will commence post-Diwali 2025, and therefore, it is one of the most anticipated two-wheelers during this festive season.
Range and Battery
TVS Orbiter’s greatest highlight is its massive 3.1 kWh battery pack. On a full charge, it provides a whopping 158 km range, which is above many of its competitors. To put that in perspective, the iQube with an equally big battery provides only 123 km, and even iQube’s bigger 3.5 kWh pack provides 145 km. This is a very practical option for daily commutes as well as extended rides.
Design and Features
TVS has labeled Orbiter as the aerodynamic e-scooter of India. The look is minimalist and contemporary, with LED headlamps, a windscreen at the front, and fashionable 14-inch alloy wheels. It provides a flat footboard of 290 mm for improved leg space and under-seat storage of 34 liters, which can be utilized to carry bags or helmets.
The scooter also features several advanced capabilities including regenerative braking, cruise control, hill-hold assist, USB charging port, and reverse mode. The riders can toggle between Eco and Power modes based on their requirement, hence becoming efficient and versatile.
Smart Connectivity
Even though it is an entry-level scooter, Orbiter is provided with a colored LCD screen. The device has the capability to connect through a smartphone and provide call notifications, navigation, live location, geo-fencing, theft notification, fall detection, and even OTA updates. Such sophisticated features place Orbiter ahead in its class.
Color Options
TVS is launching the Orbiter in six beautiful colors to appeal to various purchasing preferences. These are Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.
