TVS Motor is back in the headlines in the two-wheeler world. The company recently released a mysterious teaser that has created a stir among bike lovers. Something big is coming on November 4th, and speculation is rife that it could be TVS’s new 450 ADV bike, based on BMW’s F 450 GS platform.
TVS is now moving into the larger engine segment in both its domestic and international markets, and this launch could prove to be a significant milestone in that direction.

Design
The TVS 450 ADV will be designed for riders who also want style with adventure. The bike is expected to see premium elements such as front beak, sharp LED headlamps, large windscreen, and Golden USD front forks. As well as sculpted fuel tanks, hand guards, metallic complement guards, and upswept exhausts will give it a strong and adventurous look.

The bike’s digital instrument console is likely to include smart features such as Bluetooth connectivity and turn by turn navigation. Also, it can also provide luggage mounting points and rear racks so that storage is easy for riders on long journeys.
Engine
Powering this new bike will be a BMW developed 450cc, parallel twin cylinder engine that produces 48 hp and is paired to a 6-speed transmission. This is the same engine platform that powers the BMW F 450 GS.
The new TVS 450 ADV will use a steel bridge trellis frame and a bolt-on rear subframe, which will not only make the bike lighter but also provide better stability during riding. The bike is expected to have a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, and cross-spoke wheels could be available as an optional upgrade.

Features
TVS has always been known to deliver advanced technology in its bikes, and this new 450 ADV will not be untouched by it. Possible features found in the bike include ride modes, switchable traction control, and quickshifter (optional).
In addition, riders will get many connectivity features — such as call alerts, music control and ride analytics through the SmartXonnect platform. This bike will be perfect fit for every type of ride from highway cruising to hill station adventure.
