Triumph is once again ready to rock the Indian bike market. This time it is the turn of the Scrambler 400XC, the upgraded version of the Scrambler 400X, whose information has been leaked on the internet even before its launch.

For those who are fond of off-roading and adventure riding, this bike can be an interesting option. With some new cosmetic updates and strong features, the Scrambler 400XC is ready to give tough competition to bikes like Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure X.

Price

According to media reports, the price of the Scrambler 400XC can be around ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 30,000 more than the Scrambler 400X. In this new model, you will get cross-spoke wheels with tubeless tires, a metal bash plate that will protect the bike in off-road riding, a body-colored high fender, and a flyscreen that will improve wind cutting.

Engine

If you liked the performance of the Scrambler 400X, then the Scrambler 400XC will also not disappoint. It will get the same 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which generates 39.5 BHP of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which gives smooth shifting and excellent control.

Suspension and Braking

Triumph has retained the same suspension setup in the Scrambler 400XC as in the Scrambler 400X. There is a 43 mm USD fork at the front, and an adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear.

Talking about braking, there will be a 320 mm disc brake in the front with 4-piston calipers, and a 230 mm disc brake at the rear, which comes with a single-piston caliper. This means that whether there is traffic or trail, braking reliability will remain intact.
