India’s two-wheeler market saw strong activity in June 2025, with Hero MotoCorp leading the pack. While brands like TVS, Royal Enfield, and Suzuki gained momentum, others like Honda and Bajaj saw a dip. Let’s take a quick look at how each brand performed in domestic sales.

Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp secured the top spot in June 2025 with 5,25,136 units sold. This marks a 7% increase from June 2024, when the brand sold 4,91,416 units. The company’s steady hold on the commuter segment is likely the reason behind this consistent growth. Hero added over 33,000 units compared to last year, showing strong demand for its affordable and reliable models.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India

Honda saw a significant drop in sales, slipping to 3,88,812 units in June 2025. This is a steep 20% fall compared to June 2024, when the brand had sold 4,82,597 units. Among all major manufacturers, Honda recorded the sharpest year-on-year decline. The drop pushed Honda further behind Hero and closer to its competitors.

TVS Motor Company

TVS posted healthy growth with 2,81,012 units sold in June 2025, up from 2,55,734 in the same month last year. This 10% year-on-year growth puts TVS in a stronger position against Bajaj Auto. The continued success of its electric scooter range, especially the iQube, is playing a key role in this upward trend.

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto saw a 16% decline in sales in June 2025. The company sold 1,49,317 units, down from 1,77,207 in June 2024. This drop reflects challenges in retaining its market share, especially when competitors like TVS are gaining ground. The brand may need to refresh its lineup or strategies to reverse this trend.

Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield showed impressive growth by selling 76,957 units in June 2025. This is a 16% increase from 66,117 units in June 2024. The brand’s growing popularity both in domestic and international markets helped it boost sales. Its classic appeal and loyal customer base continue to work in its favor.

Suzuki Motorcycles

Suzuki stayed on the growth path with 73,934 units sold in June 2025. That’s a 4% rise compared to 71,086 units last year. While the growth isn’t massive, Suzuki remains steady in the competition. With a stable product lineup and consistent performance, the brand continues to maintain a loyal customer base.
