Engine and Performance

Talking about engine and performance first, the TVS Apache RR 310 has received two major updates over the past year. The first update included a larger airbox, a higher compression ratio, lighter forged pistons, and a larger throttle body. This increased power from 34 hp to 38 hp and torque from 27.3 Nm to 29 Nm. A bi-directional quickshifter and cruise control were also added.

The BMW G 310 RR is also based on the same platform, so it’s likely the new model will also see similar engine upgrades. This means the riding experience could be even smoother and more powerful.

Launch Control and Advanced Features

Speaking of launch control and advanced features, the Apache RR 310 was upgraded to comply with OBD2B norms in April 2025. This significant update added advanced features like launch control and cornering drag torque control. It is believed that these features will also be included in the BMW G 310 RR. These features will not only make the bike more advanced but will also give the rider more control during high-speed riding.

Design and New Elements

Speaking of design and new features, the updated BMW G 310 RR may also feature several design changes. Reports suggest that it may feature aerodynamic winglets on the fairing, which will generate up to 3 kg of downforce. A transparent clutch cover and new 8-spoke alloy wheels (sourced from the Apache RTR 310) may also be seen. These changes will not only enhance the bike’s style but also enhance its performance.

Pricing and Positioning

Now, let’s talk about pricing and positioning. Currently, the BMW G 310 RR is priced at ₹3.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated model’s price may increase, but it won’t be significantly more expensive due to the new GST structure. BMW has always charged a premium of around ₹20,000 (approximately ₹20,000) on the top-spec Apache RR 310. Therefore, it’s believed that the new version could be priced around ₹20,000 (approximately ₹295,000) more than the Apache’s top-spec model.
