According to media reports, Tata Motors is all set to bring back its iconic SUV as the Tata Sierra EV. The company has officially confirmed that this premium electric SUV will reach showrooms in the first quarter of FY2027 (April-June 2026). With its muscular appearance, a driving range of over 500 km, and cutting-edge Acti.ev+ architecture, this vehicle will not only evoke nostalgia but also redefine the future of electric mobility.
Tata Sierra EV’s Powerful Design
The Tata Sierra EV’s design will appeal to those who want a strong road presence in their vehicle. Its front features a closed grille area, full-circle LED DRLs, and a split headlamp setup. The side profile of the vehicle features large alloy wheels, muscular wheel arches, and modern flush door handles, giving it a premium and futuristic look. If needed, you can charge other electronic devices or even another electric vehicle from your vehicle’s battery.
Premium Cabin and Advanced Performance
The Sierra EV’s cabin will be extremely premium and luxurious. It will be a 5-seater mid-size SUV with plenty of legroom and headroom. For performance enthusiasts, Tata may offer it in two variants: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD).
