The craze for SUVs in India is growing day by day, and in this race, Tata Motors is all set to relaunch its most iconic SUV, the Tata Sierra, in a new avatar. Engine

First of all talk about the engine found in it, Tata Sierra In 2025, the company has given many powerful engine options so that every type of driver likes it. It will receive a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine, generating around 170PS of power and 280Nm of torque. This engine will come in both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) options.

In addition, another 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine is also expected to be found in Tata Sierra, which will be great for budget-friendly versioning. If you talk about diesel variant, it will be given the same 2.0L turbo diesel engine used in Tata Harrier and Safari. This engine gives 170PS power and 350Nm torque. It will also feature both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. In its base variants, the company can also offer a small 1.5L diesel engine (Nexon one), which gives 118PS power and 260Nm torque.

Price

Now, let’s talk about the price. The company will position it as an affordable yet premium SUV. It is expected to have a starting price of around ₹10.50 lakh, while the top variant could go up to ₹20 lakh. It will directly compete with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.

Interior & Features

The interior of the Tata Sierra 2025 will be absolutely futuristic. This will be Tata’s first SUV to be given the Triple Screen Setup. It will have a large central infotainment display, a co-passenger screen, and a digital driver display.

In addition the SUV will have features such as 4-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, and premium sound system.

In case of safety, it will be given multiple airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), traction control, ABS with EBD, front & rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features.
