First Look
Let me tell you that Tata Motors has shared a teaser video on their social media handle showing Tata Sierra running with a herd of horses. It symbolizes not just an SUV but a return to strength, freedom and classic design. It will be launched on 25 November 2025. The SUV will make its place between Curvv and Harrier in Tata’s lineup, further strengthening the company’s hold in the midsize segment.
Retro design
In terms of design, its boxy shape, high bonnet, and classic curved rear window are reminiscent of the old Sierra, while the glossy black grille, split LED headlights, and connected DRLs at the front give it a futuristic touch.
Furthermore, the flush door handles and floating roof design in the side profile add to its stylish appearance. The rear design, with its LED taillights and rotatable window, gives it a “retro meets modern” look.

Interior
The interior of the Tata Sierra will now be fully upgraded. It will feature a digital instrument cluster, co-passenger display and a large infotainment touchscreen. Features like dual-tone theme, soft-touch material, ambient lighting and ventilated front seats make it premium.
The steering wheel will be in a four-spoke design with Illuminated Tata Logo. Talking about features, it will also have features like Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Wireless Charger, Harman Sound System and Panoramic Sunroof.
Safety Features
You will know that Tata is always known for the safety of its cars and Sierra 2025 will set a new benchmark in this as well. It will have features such as 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 360-degree camera, Level-2 ADAS and high ground clearance. This SUV will be not only comfortable but also unmatched in terms of safety.

Engine and performance
- Petrol engines: 1.5-liter Naturally Aspirated and 1.5-liter Turbo-Petrol (TGDI)
- Diesel engine: 2.0-liter engine, borrowed from the Harrier, producing 170 PS of power
- EV version: It will have a 60 to 80 kWh battery pack, providing a range of over 400 km.
Price
Talking about the price, the initial X-showroom price of Tata Sierra can be between ₹12 lakh to ₹20 lakh. This will further strengthen Tata’s midsize SUV range and compete with SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and MG Astor.
