The upcoming Tata Punch Facelift is expected to be launched in 2026 and has been seen continuously during testing for the past few months. Based on the latest spy shots, it is clearly revealed that the new punch is going to come in a more modern, bold and feature-Loaded avatar than before. Design
Talking about design, the new Punch Facelift is most likely changing its front profile. Spy shots showed that it gave a high-tech look inspired by Punch EV. The new slated grille, EV-style lighting signature and upward LED DRLs make it quite sharp and futuristic. The horizontal headlamp setup and rectangular lower grille below look completely different from the earlier Curvy-Mesh design and give the SUV a solid and premium appeal.
Side profiles do not show major changes, but it is expected that the facelift model will include new design alloy wheels. The same body cladding, things like door handles in C-pillars, roof rails and blacked-out pillars retain Punch’s identity. A more tilted windscreen at the rear, new boot design and updated bumpers give the SUV an even more muscular look. Overall, the design is already going to be quite modern and aggressive.
Features
Tata Punch will also bring a major upgrade in terms of facelift features. Appearing 360° camera in spy shots is an indication that this micro SUV is about to offer a premium feature in its segment. In addition, elements such as squared wheel arch, shark-fin antenna, sunroof and blacked-out pillars in Punch will be found as before, retaining the SUV’s stylish and rough-tuff look.
Interior
The interior is also expected to have several attention-grabbing updates. The 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster will make the driving experience more modern. The climate control panel of the new design and the Nexon-inspired 2-spoke steering wheel will add a premium feel to the cabin. Punch Facelift is going to be ahead in terms of security, as it can standardize 6-airbags. In addition, features such as blind spot monitors and front ventilated seats can also be included.
Engine
The powertrain is less likely to change, and the new Tata Punch is expected to feature the existing 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine. The engine offers power of 87.8 bhp and torque of 115 Nm, suitable for both city and highway driving. With this both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT options are available, allowing buyers to choose as they need. In the CNG variants, this engine gives an output of 73.5 bhp and 103 Nm and only comes in a 5-speed manual gearbox. Because of this, Punch becomes a great option in terms of CNG mileage and low running cost.
