The Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition gives a new spin to an old favorite scooter. It retains the comfort and performance of the Access that one has come to know but incorporates fashionable tech for riders today.

TFT Display and Connectivity

The biggest update in this edition is the new 4.2-inch full-colour TFT display. It connects to your phone through Suzuki’s Ride Connect platform. The screen has excellent brightness, contrast, and refresh rates, making it easy to read in bright sunlight or at night.

Riders receive SMS and call reminders, over-speed notifications, ETA reminders, and even phone battery level through the app. All this is done without having to take their eyes away from the road, making it safer and more convenient.

Stylish New Colour Option

A new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour adds a modern urban style to the scooter. Its matte finish makes it stand out in traffic in urban areas. Riders can still opt for the traditional Suzuki colours of Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, and Solid Ice Green.

Engine and Ride Quality

Mechanically, there has been no change from the regular Access 125. It retains the tried and tested 124 cc air-cooled engine, making around 8.3 bhp and 10.2 Nm of torque. The OBD2 conformity makes it abide by the current emission standards.

Comfort, fuel efficiency, and ride quality are all the same. Old-timers on the Access will be comfortable as ever with this version.

For Everyday Ride

The TFT Edition retains the functional aspects that make the Access a favourite for everyday use. The outside fuel filler cap allows refuelling to be speedy. There is also good under-seat space for daily items. Its light body allows city commuting to be effortless.

Price Difference and Value

The TFT Edition is priced at about ₹6,800–7,000 extra compared to the base variant. Though the overall performance and gameplay remain the same, the additional cost is directed towards the new display and connectivity options.

For those who appreciate tech and design, the premium might be justified. For price-sensitive buyers, the base LCD variant continues to be the way to go.
