This time, the Indian government has brought another piece of good news for farmers. The Indian government has taken a new step to provide every farmer with a Farmer ID card. If you are a resident of India and own any land, you can take advantage of this opportunity. You will not only receive the card but also various other benefits from the government free of charge. So, if you are a farmer in India or own land, read this report to the end for more details.
Previously, farmers had to fill out separate forms, submit various documents, and visit different offices to avail themselves of government schemes. But now, everything is being integrated online. With the introduction of the Digital Farmer ID card by the Indian government, all of a farmer’s information—personal identity, land ownership, crop type, bank account, and participation in government schemes—will be linked through a unique ID.
What is a Farmer ID Card?
A Farmer ID Card is a government-approved digital identity card that stores all of a farmer’s information online. It is a unique card, similar to the Aadhaar Card, specifically designed for farmers. With this card, the government can directly send subsidies or grants to the farmer’s bank account.
