TVS sales: TVS Motor has scored a phenomenal feat in June 2025 by selling 402,001 units and recording a impressive 20.49% year-over-year growth. This achievement shows TVS’s steady demand among two-wheeler customers. Regardless of slight month-to-month fluctuations, June registered robust figures and emphasized the brand’s consistent demand across various vehicle models.
June 2025 Sales Performance
TVS’s scooter and motorcycle segments were the pillars on which this expansion came. Motorcycles recorded 188,774 units sold, up by 23.62% compared to June last year. Scooters also performed well, with sales rising by 25.82% to 162,291 units. This strong growth reflects how consumers continue to have faith in TVS’s products for regular use.
Electric and Moped Segment Sales
Sales of electric scooters like the TVS iQube fell this month to only 14,400 units. This decline occurred primarily due to a magnet shortage in the supply chain, impairing availability. In the same way, moped designs like the XL100 registered 34,633 units, falling by 14.45%. Nevertheless, TVS was able to make up for its sales due to better performances in other segments.
Domestic vs Export Performance
The local market was robust at 281,012 units sold, an increase of 9.88% over the previous year. Exports saw an even larger increase of 57.58% at 104,686 units. Total two-wheeler sales for TVS reached 385,698 units, a year-on-year increase of 19.72%. These statistics serve as evidence of TVS’s strong presence both in India and internationally.
Three-Wheeler Segment Gains Momentum
Three-wheeler volumes provided a major boost to TVS in June. Domestic sales of three-wheelers stood at 3,844 units, with an impressive growth of 109.14%. Three-wheeler exports totaled 12,459 units, recording a growth of 29.24%. These figures indicate that TVS’s three-wheeler range is turning out to be a strong pillar of its business strategy.
Month-on-Month Performance in June
Compared to May 2025, TVS experienced some declines. Motorcycles declined by 10.75%, scooters by 2.67%, and mopeds by 8.65%. Electric scooters recorded the steepest decline, down 48.53%. However, three-wheelers remained steady and enabled the firm to balance out weaker segments.
Record-Breaking Quarter
In Q1 FY26 (Apr-Jun 2025), TVS posted its highest quarterly sales ever at 12.77 lakh units. Two-wheelers accounted for 12.32 lakh units with growth of 17%, and three-wheelers at 46% growth at 0.45 lakh units. TVS exports during the quarter were at 3.52 lakh units, which is a 39% growth year on year.
