Skoda has carved a niche for itself in the Indian automobile market over the past few years. Cars like the Skoda Kushaq and Slavia, in particular, have revived the brand’s popularity. Now, four years later, the company is preparing to introduce a facelifted version of its most successful SUV, the Skoda Kushaq. It has been spotted testing on Indian roads several times, and the SUV is expected to launch in late 2025 or early 2026.

New Design
Skoda Kushaq Facelift will retain its old silhouette, but its look is going to be much sharper and modern than before. The company has made several changes to its design, so that it looks similar to the Global Skoda models.
It will feature newly designed bumpers, an updated front grille, and tweaked LED headlamps and tail lamps. In addition, 17-inch alloy wheels will also bring a new style this time, which will give the car a more premium feel.

Interior
The more attractive the look outside, the more great feeling inside. The cabin of the new facelifted Kushaq will be more premium than ever. The company has used high-quality surface materials and revised trims to make you feel a class as soon as you sit inside.
According to sources, it will be given a new dashboard design and center console layout. There have also been considerable upgrades to the feature list. The biggest attraction will be Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which will make it a smart SUV in its segment.
Engine
As far as the engine is concerned, Skoda has decided to maintain its tested and trusted engine. It will get two petrol engines as before 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol and 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol.
The 1.0L engine will give 115 PS power and 178 Nm torque, while the 1.5L engine will give 150 PS power and 250 Nm torque. Transmission options will also be the same as before – 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic (with 1.0L), and 7-speed DCT automatic (with 1.5L variants).

platform
The Skoda Kushaq Facelift will be built on the same MQB A0 IN platform as the previous model. This platform is heavily localized and considered robust for Indian roads. Its dimensions will remain the same as the previous model, but the company is aiming to give it a fresh look with minor design changes.
