Royal Enfield fans are in for an exciting time ahead! The company has revealed its priorities for the financial year 2025-2026, and it will bring a smile to your face to know that this time around, the company will focus on giving its existing, much-loved motorcycles a makeover instead of launching all-new models. New designs, attractive colour combinations, and practical feature upgrades will be part of these changes, making your favourite Royal Enfield even more powerful and modern.

650cc twin-platform

The 650cc parallel-twin platform has already changed everything for Royal Enfield. This highly adaptable and buttery smooth engine is currently found in six bikes, the most recent of which is the Classic 650, the true successor to the legendary Classic 500. The 650cc platform is expected to get some new colour options and minor feature improvements this fiscal, making these powerful bikes even more attractive.

But the story doesn’t end here. Another motorcycle based on this technology is still to be launched, and that is Royal Enfield’s Bullet 650. Since this motorcycle has been spotted several times over the years, the brand should launch it this financial year. Bullet fans are eagerly waiting for this powerful machine!

350cc J-Series

Classic 350, Goan Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, and Bullet 350 These five bikes are based on the J-Series chassis. We don’t expect Royal Enfield to bring any more new motorcycles with 350cc engines.

Still, the manufacturer could add more color options to the current selection. In the coming months, we could see more vibrant colour schemes, which will give these popular bikes a new and fresh look.

450cc Motorcycles

The Sherpa 450 is Royal Enfield’s first liquid-cooled engine. It was first seen in the Himalayan 450, after which it was also included in the Guerrilla 450. Royal Enfield will likely use this platform for more future motorcycles as it is still relatively new. For example, the Himalayan 450 Rally is one such motorcycle.

Compared to the standard Himalayan, it is designed for more tough off-road riding. Road tests of this new model have already been seen. It was also spotted during the 2024 EICMA Motor Show. In the coming months, Royal Enfield may introduce the Himalayan 450 Rally in India, which will prove to be a great option for adventure enthusiasts.

750cc platform

Royal Enfield is also working on a big project. Motorcycles like the Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750 have been spotted testing in spy images. Since some of the models are still in the early stages, their launch may take longer. These are not expected to be included in this year’s update, although it may happen. Once launched, these will offer enhanced performance and power, which will make Royal Enfield’s lineup even stronger.

Royal Enfield’s move towards electric

To move towards electric vehicles, Royal Enfield recently unveiled the Flying Flea C6 in India. However, the company has not revealed the battery parameters of the Flying Flea. It is expected to be a premium offering compared to other commuter electric bikes and will be more of a lifestyle product.

The production version of the Flying Flea is now expected to the premiere in early 2026, probably in March month. The Scrambler built on the same platform will follow. This move by Royal Enfield could bring a new revolution in the electric vehicle segment.
