Hyundai Verna 2026 India Launch: Hyundai has launched the 2026 model of its most popular sedan, the Verna, in the Indian market. This new Verna not only features upgraded looks and features, but the company has also completely changed the variants’ names. The old names will now be replaced by the ‘HX’ series. With a starting price of ₹10.98 lakh, this car directly challenges giants like the Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus. Engine and Performance
The new Hyundai Verna 2026 comes only with petrol engine options, making it a great choice for driving enthusiasts. The primary option is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque. This engine is ideal for those who prefer quiet and smooth city driving.
For speed enthusiasts, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine produces a whopping 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard with both engines.
