The craze for electric vehicles is spreading fast in India. Many new products with exciting features are coming to market, and two of them are already winning people’s hearts. Ultraviolette is preparing to enter the Indian electric two-wheeler space next year, but even before the official launch, its bookings have surprised everyone.

Tesseract Electric Scooter Bookings

Ultraviolette’s first electric scooter, named Tesseract, is gaining massive attention. The company has confirmed over 60,000 bookings so far. Interestingly, around 50,000 of those came by March 2025, while 10,000 more arrived in just the last three months, showing people’s growing trust in electric scooters. The deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2026.

Tesseract Price and Battery Options

Initially, the first 50,000 customers could book the Tesseract at a starting price of ₹1.20 lakh. However, due to high demand, the price now starts at ₹1.45 lakh ex-showroom. Customers will get three battery options: a 3.5kWh unit in the base variant, a 5kWh option, and a top-end 6kWh battery. The claimed range is between 160 and 260 km depending on the battery.

Tesseract Features

The Tesseract is designed to impress with its sporty looks and modern safety features. It offers front and rear radar systems along with rear-view mirrors that have blind spot detection. Riders also get a dashcam for extra security. The top speed can reach 125 km/h, while safety technologies like traction control, dual-channel ABS, hill hold, and four levels of regen braking make it even more attractive.

Shockwave Electric Off-Road Bike Bookings

The second electric vehicle from Ultraviolette is the Shockwave, an off-road electric bike. It has gathered around 7,000 bookings so far and will also see deliveries starting early next year.

Shockwave Price and Specifications

Shockwave starts at ₹1.75 lakh ex-showroom. It has a strong 14.5 bhp electric motor with a 4kWh battery, giving it a riding range of 165 km on one charge. Its acceleration is quick, going from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The bike can hit a top speed of 120 km/h.

Shockwave Features

For rugged off-road performance, Shockwave is loaded with all-LED lighting, a tough steel frame, telescopic front forks, and a rear monoshock. It rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels. Dual-channel ABS is switchable for off-road fun, while traction control has four levels and regeneration braking has six levels.

New Options for Electric Two-Wheeler Buyers

These two Ultraviolette models are set to bring high-tech features and powerful performance to Indian electric two-wheelers. For buyers who want something advanced and different, Tesseract and Shockwave could be the best choices coming next year.
