1. Maruti e Vitara

Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car, the e Vitara, will be launched in September 2025. The SUV is built on the eHeartect platform developed in collaboration with Toyota and will be manufactured at the Gujarat factory. The e Vitara will come in two battery variants – 49kWh and 61kWh. The car with the smaller battery will produce 143bhp of power, while the one with the larger battery will come with 173bhp of power. Maruti claims that this EV will offer a range of 500km+, making it perfect for both city and highways.

2. Maruti Escudo

If you want to buy a mid-size SUV, then Maruti Escudo is waiting for you. It will be launched around Diwali 2025 (October-November). This car will be bigger than Brezza and longer than Grand Vitara, as well as its boot space will be more. Escudo will have 1.5L petrol and hybrid engine options, making it a strong rival for Creta and Citroen C3 Aircross.

3. Maruti Fronx Hybrid

In 2026 Maruti will launch a hybrid version of the Fronx, which will be the company’s first in-house developed strong hybrid car. It will have Swift’s 1.2L Z12E petrol engine, which will be combined with new hybrid technology. This technology will be cheaper than Toyota’s system, but will give a mileage of 35kmpl+.

4. New-gen Maruti Baleno

A new version of the Baleno will be launched in 2026, which will have a completely new design and features. This car will come with hybrid technology and will offer a 1.2L petrol-electric setup like the Fronx. However, Maruti will also sell it with the old 1.2L Dualjet engine, so that customers can get a choice.

5. Maruti Mini MPV

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a sub-4 meter MPV, which will compete with Renault Triber and Nissan’s compact MPV. This car will be based on the Suzuki Spacia sold in Japan, but in India it will be offered with a 1.2L Z-Series petrol engine. However, sliding doors like the Japanese version will not be available here.
