Maruti Suzuki has raised the prices of its popular Fronx SUV in India. Buyers will now have to spend ₹4,000 more for select variants. Along with the price hike, the company has discontinued the 1.2-litre petrol-manual Delta Plus (O) variant. However, the 1.2-litre petrol-automatic Delta Plus (O) variant continues with the old price. The hike is up to 0.93% depending on the model. Those planning to buy should check the updated price list before making a decision.
Engine and Performance
The Maruti Fronx is offered with a 1.0-litre turbo Boosterjet engine. It accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. The SUV also has an advanced 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Smart Hybrid technology. This setup improves fuel efficiency and driving comfort. Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters, as well as Auto Gear Shift (AGS). The Fronx delivers a mileage of up to 22.89 km/l, making it a fuel-efficient choice in its segment.
