Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch its first compact electric SUV in India, which has been seen several times during testing. Bookings for this great EV, which debuted at the Auto Expo 2025, have also started at some dealerships, for which a token amount of ₹ 25,000 is being charged.

Expected price of e-Vitara

If media reports are to be believed, the price of the new e-Vitara can start between ₹ 20 lakh to ₹ 25 lakh (ex-showroom). This electric SUV will be available in attractive dual-tone colors – Splendid Silver, Opalent Red, Arctic White, and Land Breeze Green as well as single-tone colors – Nexa Blue, Grey, Silver, White, Red and the Black with the Bluish Black Roof.

In India, it will compete directly with Hyundai Creta Electric. It is expected that Maruti Suzuki will strengthen its hold in the market by keeping the price of this car a little low.

500km amazing range in a single charge

The new Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will come with two battery pack options – 49kWh and 61kWh, which are expected to provide a range of more than 500 km.

Customers will be able to choose the battery pack according to their needs. The e-Vitara will be produced at the Gujarat plant, from where it will also be exported to countries like Japan and Europe and will be sold in India through Nexa outlets.

Equipped with 7 airbags and ADAS Level-2

The new Vitara will be second to none in terms of safety! It will get modern features like 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with EBD. Apart from all this, it will get the R18 aerodynamic alloy wheels system, and 3-point matrix LED DRL in the front and the rear lamps. The driver seat can be adjusted in 10 ways and its ground clearance will be 180mm.
