Maruti Dzire: The Indian automobile sector has set a new stage with GST 2.0 reform. The new tax regulation is building immense enthusiasm among buyers as prices of cars are being reduced. Maruti Dzire, the best-selling sedan that has dominated Indian roads for years, is one of the greatest gainers of this reform. The revised prices will be valid from 22 September 2025, becoming cheaper than ever.

How the New GST Rate Benefits Small Cars

With the new tax regime, petrol vehicles up to 1200cc and diesel vehicles up to 1500cc with a length below 4 meters now have to pay only 18 percent GST, as against the previous 28 percent. This point cut has brought down small sedans such as Maruti Dzire, providing customers with a huge reason to exchange or buy a new car during the festive season.
