Mahindra is gearing up a robust portfolio of high-end SUVs for the Indian market over the next two years. Facelifts, new electric variants, and improved features are the reasons these launches are eagerly awaited.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift to Debut in 2026

The XUV700 facelift has been seen testing numerous times before it goes on sale in early 2026. The SUV will be accompanied by redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels, and refreshed light clusters. Flush door handles will continue to be present, while new paint shades and revisions to the rear design are anticipated.

Improved Interiors and Triple-Screen Dashboard

Within the XUV700 facelift, Mahindra is plotting a extensive cabin update. Buyers will be able to look forward to fresh upholstery, revised trims, and a new dashboard. A triple-screen arrangement will dominate the interior with a all-digital instrument panel, a passenger display, and a large infotainment screen.

Engine and Transmission Options Will Stay the Same

Even with cosmetic and interior updates, the engine range is to remain known. The XUV700 will retain the 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Transmission choices will be a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic torque converter.

Mahindra XUV.e8 Testing in Final Stages

Another big addition will be the XUV.e8, being an electric version of the XUV700. Drawing from the concept revealed above, it will come out as the XEV 7e. The three-row SUV will have the same dimensions as the ICE model but incorporate EV elements such as a blanked grille and distinctive illumination.

Mahindra’s BE 6 and BE Rall-E

Mahindra’s born electric line-up is also expanding quickly. The BE 6 has already gained significant attention, and a tough BE Rall-E variant is in testing. The Rall-E would be an even off-road-oriented electric SUV and might share its 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs with the BE 6.

Hybrid Potential in the Future

Mahindra is also monitoring the hybrid trend. While not yet announced, hybrid variations of the XEV 9e and BE 6 may follow later, subject to market acceptance.
