You might know that Mahindra has quite a name in the SUV segment, and now the company is preparing to bring two of its most popular SUVs XUV700 and Scorpio-N into the new avatar. Testing of facelift versions of both SUVs continues and will be launched in India in 2026.
While the XUV700 facelift is expected to be launched in January 2026, the Scorpio-N facelift may come to the end of this financial year. Along with this, Mahindra will also introduce its new 7-seater electric SUV XEV 7e by the end of this year.

Interior
The interior of the XUV700 facelift will be in a completely new layout, inspired by Mahindra’s electric SUV XEV 7e. It will feature a triple-screen setup, an infotainment unit, a digital instrument cluster, and an entertainment screen for the co-passenger.
Talking about features, the SUV will feature high-tech safety features such as Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos, auto-dimming IRVM, front parking sensor, and ADAS Level 2+ system. It is going to be the perfect combination of SUV technology and comfort.

The company is focusing on giving more modern and high-tech feel inside the cabin. It will now see larger touchscreen infotainment systems, updated instrument consoles, and new premium materials. Many of Scorpio-N’s features will be taken from Mahindra’s new SUVs, the Thar Roxx and XUV700, which will make it more premium.
Engine
However, no major changes have been made to the mechanical part. The new XUV700 will get two engine options as before, the 2.0L Turbo Petrol and the 2.2L Turbo Diesel. Both engines will be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. Its driving experience is going to be smoother and powerful than before.
The same powerful engine lineup will continue in the Scorpio-N facelift, the 2.0L Turbo Petrol and the 2.2L Turbo Diesel. Both engines will get the option of 6-speed manual (6MT) and 6-speed automatic (6AT) transmissions. Along with this, a 4-wheel drive system will also be offered in some variants, which makes it even more luxurious on Rough Terrain.
Design
Also, the new generation Mahindra XUV700 2026 will see major changes in both exterior design and interior. The company has focused on giving the SUV a more modern and stylish look.

It will feature new front grille design, LED headlamp setup and C-shaped LED DRLs. In addition, the SUV will be updated with new bumpers, taillights and alloy wheels, making its road presence look even more spectacular.
Now let’s talk about Mahindra’s second strong SUV Scorpio-N facelift. It will be offered with minor cosmetic updates and some interior upgrades. This SUV from outside will now look more aggressive, it will see new front grills, LED headlamps, new bumpers, updated taillights and new alloy wheels.

Launch
The company will launch the Mahindra XUV700 facelift in January 2026, while the Scorpio-N facelift may hit Indian roads before March 2026.
Both SUVs are being designed for the company’s mid-range and high-end customers, which will have the perfect blend of design, technology and performance.
